The festival takes place on Saturday, 5 September at The Ostrich at Ostrich Ranch in Philadelphia, and Good Hope FM will be providing a live broadcast during Social Saturdaze with Rinaldo Felaar from 15:00 to 18:00, says the station.

Listeners and festivalgoers can also expect prize giveaways leading up to the event, as well as on the day itself, as Good Hope FM amplifies the food experience.

Kota Festival is a platform dedicated to celebrating, empowering and growing the kota economy in South Africa. Rooted in township culture, the festival brings together kota businesses ("Kotapreneurs") to showcase their flavours, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Through initiatives like Kota business workshops, mentorship programmes and storytelling platforms, the brand equips aspiring and existing Kotapreneurs with practical tools, knowledge, and exposure to succeed in a competitive economy.

Masi Mdingane, Business Manager for Good Hope FM, concludes, "Cape Town's Original is teaming up with Cape Town's tastiest and most colourful, all with the goal of not only bringing the best in lifestyle entertainment, but also empowering entrepreneurs. This is where two of the Mother City's favourite flavours collide, and it's one not to be missed. Wherever the hottest and most soulful events in Cape Town are, Good Hope FM will be there, celebrating the music, people, stories, dreams and tastes that make Mzansi and the city a different kind of magic."
